Most Wondrous News
My dear reader, it has been some months since our initial announcement that Mostmortem had moved into the realm of original video production with our first short film Misguided. As anyone familiar with the process can attest, filmmaking can be fraught with unforeseen difficulties and the whole business can have a rather unwelcome effect on the nerves. I admit there are times during our last project I when I attended my daily duties without the benefit of sleep and I even began to believe that our antique wardrobe was a cursed artifact that robbed its owners of their essence and drained them of their faculties. I found this suspicion quite difficult to shake and my sweet Penny Dee was rather disappointed to find me standing over its splintered remains one morning, demanding recompense and restitution for its actions against me. Apparently it had been in her family for some time.
Nevertheless, our first film Misguided proved to be something less than a complete catastrophe, having now shown at a number of horror-themed film festivals and even being presented with an award by the venerable Joseph Robert Briggs, an honor so overwhelming that I feel a touch of faintness whenever I am reminded of this development. And so in spite of the difficulties, we at Mostmortem have decided to take another crack at the whole thing. It gives me great pleasure to announce the arrival of Bells, our second original media contribution. Please find a “teaser” for this upcoming short below.
Yours eternally,
P.G. Hauntedhouse
