A Thrilling Development
My dear readers, I am thrilled to announce that we at Mostmortem have successfully conducted ourselves for a single calendar year. I am swept with a tempest of feeling when I think that some of you have been with us from the very beginning, witnesses to both the stumbling of our infancy and the sturdy triumphs of our late infancy. It has been an eventful stretch of time, to be sure and as any upstart organization can attest, the nascent stages of a brand new business can be fraught with difficulty. Certainly, we have endured our scraps and scrapes along the way but have emerged fitter and leaner, more equipped than ever to face whatever hardship may befall a humble horror publication such as ours. Though the day we face may be arduous, we now know with certainty that we shall live to see the night.
That said, we are absolutely destitute at the moment and we need to diversify our pursuits immediately if there is any hope of redeeming this enterprise from the crimson shame of bankruptcy. My sweet Penny Dee and I had even considered mortgaging our estate but regrettably the last few appraisers never returned from the East Wing and their peers have shown a growing reluctance to visit our property. And so it is in that spirit of ingenuity and desperation that brings me here today to trumpet the formation of a bold new venture: Mostmortem Media. This newly structured undertaking will consist of both the reviews upon which we have built four seasons worth of material and original video content. It will combine the screaming histrionics of artistic collaboration with the compromised integrity of critical journalists dabbling in the very medium in which they are meant to be objective assessors. I hope that it all proves to be most profitable.
The first of these original videos will be Misguided. Please find a “teaser” for this upcoming short film below.
Yours eternally,
P.G. Hauntedhouse
